Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these terms. If you refuse to accept these terms, you will not be able to order any products from our website.

The Seller

This website is owned and operated by the SNC AREMITI, a company registered in French Polynesia under trade register number 4253 B “N° TAHITI” 234278 and whose registered office is Chemin vicinal n°27, Taunoa, Papeete and the SNC AREMITI FERRY a company registered in French Polynesia with trade register number 93 122 B “N° TAHITI 276 485 and whose registered office is Chemin vicinal n°27, Taunoa, Papeete

The Purchaser

For the purposes of these terms, the term “Purchaser” means the person buying AREMITI products, whether it is an individual or a professional.

These terms and conditions aim to define the contractual relationship between AREMITI and the purchaser and the conditions applicable to any purchase of passenger and vehicle tickets made via the AREMITI website, whether the buyer is a professional or an individual.

The purchase of passengers and vehicle tickets throughout this website implies that the purchaser fully accepts the present terms and conditions as well as the Terms and Conditions of Transportation available on .

These conditions of sales will prevail over any other general sales conditions which will not be accepted by AREMITI.

AREMITI also reserves the right to modify its General terms and conditions for online sales at any time. In this case, the conditions which will apply, will be the one effective at the buyer’s order date.

Product characteristics

AREMITI offers crossings between Tahiti and Moorea with two vessels: the Aremiti 5 and the Aremiti Ferry 2. Therefore, the companies sell tickets for passengers, vehicles and freight.

Products and Services to be sold online are the ones which are displayed in the category “ Our products” on the website and are the followings :

  • Tickets for senior, adult and children passengers
  • Tickets for vehicles
  • Tickets for “2 wheels”
  • Monthly subscription : adult, children, “2 wheels”, vehicles


Fares, mentionned in the « Fares » category on the website as well as in the desk offices in Tahiti and Moorea, include the following: price without tax + Port authority fee + tax. Any change on the amount of the Port Authority fee shall be pass on the price of products and services.

AREMITI reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, the only applicable price will be the one on the website the day of the order.

Geographic area

Online sales for passenger and vehicle tickets are dedicated to residents of French Polynesia as well as customers living outside French Polynesia.


The purchaser who wishes to buy a product shall:

  • Create an account by filling out the contact form in the dedicated area
  • Upon receiving the confirmation email, validate its registration
  • Select the products and add them to the basket
  • Validate its order as displayed on the screen
  • Make the payment
  • Confirm its order and its payment
The confirmation of the order leads the acceptation of these sales conditions as well as the general conditions of carriage, the acknowledgment of having read them carefully and the renunciation to take advantage of its own sales conditions or any other conditions.

All the data provided and the registered confirmation will be proof of the transaction. The confirmation will be worth signature and acceptation of the transactions made.

Once the order has been placed and payment made, AREMITI will send back via email: a copy of the invoice as well as the tickets to be presented at the boarding gates. The purchaser, via his personal account, will also have the opportunity to view his invoices as well as his tickets.

Terms of Payment

The confirmation of an order implies that the buyer has to pay the total amount of the price displayed.

Payments shall be made via bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). They will be done via the secured system PAYZEN in partnership with the “Océanienne des Services Bancaires”.

Transaction fees which could result in the payment will not be the responsibility of AREMITI.

Modification / Cancellation

Purchasers who buy tickets for passengers do not need to make any reservation.
There is no pre booking. Passengers’ tickets are valid:

  • One year from the date of issue of the ticket ( displayed on the ticket)
  • On both the Aremiti 5 and the Aremiti Ferry 2
  • On any crossings between Tahiti and Moorea at any time
Purchasers need to check the AREMITI schedules on the website.

Vehicle tickets bought online can be modified only at our desk offices in Papeete and Moorea.

On the online booking proccess, the seller is bound only by an obligation of means, his responsibility will not be engaged for a damage which could result in the use of the internet network such as : loss of data, intrusion, virus, service interruption, or any other unintended problems.

Intellectual property

All the elements and data of the website are and remain the intellectual and exclusive property of AREMITI.

Nobody is allowed to reproduce, use, rebroadcast, or use for any reason whatsoever, even partially, elements of the site whether software, visual or audio.

Personal data

Under the French law of the 6th January 1978 relating to computing and personal freedom, information on personal character regarding customers may be the object of automated processing.

AREMITI reserves the right to collect information regarding buyers, including by using cookies, and to transfer it to commercial partners if he wishes to.

Customers may be opposed to the divulging of their information by indicating it to AREMITI. Similarly, users have the right of access to the personal data concerning them and the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, In compliance with the law of January 6th 1978.

Archiving - Proof

AREMITI will archive the order forms and invoices on a reliable, durable medium which provides a true copy in compliance with the provisions of Article 1348 of the French Civil Code.

AREMITI computerised record will be considered by the Parties as proof of communications, orders, payments and transactions entered into between the parties.

Dispute resolution

These Terms and Conditions for online sales are governed by French Law. In case of dispute, competency is assigned to the “Tribunal Mixte de Commerce de Papeete”.
