After the complaint of former shareholders of SDM MOOREA competitor: the legality of the orders of July 7, 2004 granting a license to the Aremiti 5 for PAPEETE MOOREA and Aremiti 4 for Papeete / Leeward islands is confirmed.
The change of line of a vessel holding a license under Article 4 of Resolution 77/47 establishing the license owner on condition that this issue be discussed at the CCNMI. Reversal of licenses between the Aremiti 4 (corresponding to the project No. 1) and Aremiti 5.
In its letter No. 227 of March 3, 2004, the Transportation Department has agreed to the reversal of licenses between Aremiti 5 and Aremiti 4. The application was considered at the meeting of March 10, 2004 the CCNMI, where Minister of Transport said: "The inversion does not technically meet the problem."
The Council of Ministers of the this moment (March 2004) has never made any decisions to grant such a reversal, not taking into account the particular interests of passengers security, privileging unknowing interests.
